Memorial Video for Moses Newman

It has been a year since Moses Newman shed his physical body. In memory of his passing, I have created this short memorial video to show all of his friends what his funeral was like in Eritrea, Africa. Hundreds of people came to mourn the loss of this gifted healer. He was surrounded and supported by his family in his final days.

Moses’ life purpose was truly to spread the word about our innate ability to heal ourselves and to help others heal. In honor of his life purpose, we are rejuvenating the EnergyLinkHealing.com site so that we can continue to share his important message of healing to as many people as we can. His message and his love lives on through his students who will then become teachers for others…

And to continue to support his family in Eritrea, as Moses did while he was with us, we will donate 10% of all the sales from this web site to his family.

The Energy Healing Experiments: Science Reveals Our Natural Power to Heal

Are energy fields real? And if so, can they be used for healing and health? Yes, according to Schwartz (The G.O.D. Experiments), a professor of psychology, surgery, medicine, neurology and psychiatry at the University of Arizona. He tells marvelous stories of such healings and uses experiments to confirm that the human body is a bundle of energy that can be healed by another such bundle of energy. One story is of a four-year-old boy, Philip, whose heart rate dropped precipitously following surgery; a Hindu avatar, by merely touching Philip, increased his heart rate to 80 beats a minute. Through experiments with EEGs and EKGs, Schwartz says, he and others have found that our bodies are masses of biochemical energy, that such energy connects us to plants and other animals, that this energy can be harnessed for healing and that some people are in touch with their energy and use it to heal others. Schwartz’s research has not appeared in peer-reviewed journals (due to their bias against such work, he says), so skeptics will want to wait for his experiments to be replicated. But those disposed to believe in the healing touch will find support for that belief. (Aug.)

Energy Healing – Your Body’s First Choice

The human body is full of pulsing, life-giving and life-enhancing energy. Traditional western medicine and even health insurance companies are gradually acknowledging this through the increasing use of complementary and alternative medicine (known as CAM therapies). Energy healing is one of the modalities within the CAM therapies and is known by different names, including: Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, Energy Medicine, acupuncture, kinesiology. They use different techniques yet have the same objectives. But what are they referring to? And why should it matter to you?

There is growing research documenting the health-promoting benefits of energetic healing, including stress relief; increased wound healing and illness recovery; pain reduction and alleviation of side effects associated with anesthesia, radiation treatment and chemotherapy. In fact, touch therapies such as Healing Touch, Reiki and Therapeutic Touch are some of the most widely used energy based therapies being incorporated into hospitals and clinics, especially in the field of oncology. There are even energetic healing techniques that you can choose to receive when facing surgery which can reduce anxiety, stimulate relaxation, stabilize blood pressure, and normalize respiration.

In traditional western medicine, various forms of energy produced by the body (heat, electricity, magnetism, light, and sound) are routinely measured by medical devices. They reveal information about how well your body regulates itself and maintains health. Most of us are familiar with equipment such as CAT scans, MRIs, EKGs, EEGs, lasers and x-rays which emit one form of energy while measuring another form of energy. Standard medical treatment is then based, to a large degree, on the findings of these machines, and involves the use of drugs, surgery or other medical devices which involve stimulation of the affected area with pulsed electrical or magnetic fields.

Energetic healing takes a different approach. First, the practitioner uses his or her hands to assess your energy system. Then, energy is transmitted directly by the practitioner’s hands to your body (rather than using machines) to stimulate the healing process. In fact, the frequency of electromagnetic energy which emanates from the practitioner’s hands has been measured to be comparable to the Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency Device (PEMFs) used by modern medicine to jump-start healing in bone and soft tissue.

Instead of focusing on biological forms of energy, energy healing focuses on the flow of energy through the energetic “anatomy” of your body. There are energy centers (known as chakras), energy lines (called meridians) and energy fields (the “biofield” or aura). They form the network through which your body receives, processes and reveals the information with which it functions on all levels – physical, mental, emotional – even spiritual. Once an assessment of the energy flow has been made, an energy healing session focuses on removing any blockages and encouraging a return to health.

Energetic healing complements traditional medical care. It is safe, non-invasive, drug free and has no side effects. It has the potential to provide you with relief when more conventional approaches come up short. And for those of you who currently enjoy good health, energy healing can help you maintain wellness simply and naturally.

In loving memory of a great healer: Moses Newman

First off, I apologize for the delay in writing this announcement to all of you. These past few months, weeks and days have been a true emotional journey. It is with a saddened heart that I now officially inform you of Moses’ ultimate life transformation.

On July 25, 2009, in Eritrea, Africa, surrounded by his loving family, Moses Newman passed away and crossed over immediately to the light.

Moses came into my life by no mere coincidence. Our paths were meant to cross and he transformed my understanding of energy, of health, and of the power of love and gratitude.

I am grateful that we were able to finish his DVD, Wake Up the Healer In You this year. In addition to sharing his wisdom and techniques for energy healing, it now takes on an additional purpose of preserving his memory for years to come.

Since his death, I have had a few people ask me how it’s possible that an energy healer was not able to heal himself? For those who knew Moses and understood his philosophy of energy healing, they would know that energy healing does not mean avoiding death or living forever. However, for those who may not fully understand energy healing, I would simply remind them that the role of the energy healer is not to “play god” or perform miracles. Do miracles occur after energy healing sessions? Absolutely. However, the healer’s role in that miracle is to be present in the moment, to give love, to ease pain whenever possible, and most importantly allow the body to heal itself.

I remember a story Moses told me of a person who was dying in the hospital. His wife brought Moses in to see him several times. The man loved seeing Moses with his positive energy and generous gift of love. Moses gave him several sessions of energy healing. A few days later, the man passed away peacefully. Does that mean Moses failed? Absolutely not. As Moses put it, “Sometimes when it is someone’s time to go, it’s their time to go”.

I selfishly want Moses to still be here with us in physical form. I know there is still so much he could do to help the world, to share his love, and to teach his message. It was, however, his time to go. He was ready to go.

The wonderful thing is, he is still with us in spirit and his spirit guides me daily.

And in following his guidance, EnergyLinkHealing.com will continue to spread his message of energy healing. It truly is not a gift for one, but a gift for all. And it was his mission to share this gift with as many people as possible.

His memory and his message will live on in his DVD Wake Up the Healer In You.

The Science of Energy Healing
